This skills-focused training will build on knowledge gained in the Treating Tobacco Together: Essential Skills Training.  This training is appropriate for individuals who have completed the Essential Skills Training within the past two years and are interested in increasing their tobacco treatment skills. Accelerated Tobacco Treatment Specialist Program

This program provides education on evidence-based research ranging from tobacco treatment medications, population-based issues and targeted tobacco treatment intervention skills. The MaineHealth Center for Tobacco Independence Tobacco Treatment Specialist (TTS) Program offers evidence-based education available in a versatile and fun format. Participants will gain competence in treating patients with tobacco use disorder and learn how to address tobacco use within organizations.
