The Foundations of Client-Centered Tobacco Treatment: A Training for Youth Providers

Join other health professionals in this virtual training to learn more about tobacco use disorder and evidence-based tobacco treatment interventions for youth. Led by healthcare professionals, this training will increase participants’ confidence for working with patients and clients who use tobacco products, including Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems.

This training is free and open to all health professionals, prevention professionals, and community members who are interested in learning more about the burden of tobacco and strategies for intervention and treatment with youth.

In this training, participants will learn about nicotine addiction, the adolescent brain and why evidence-based treatment is part of usual care, the landscape and impact of e-cigarettes, including patterns of use among youth, and the evolution of products as well as treatment and prevention strategies that individuals can incorporate into their various settings.
