Choosing a Pathway
The accelerated pathway allows you to complete the training requirement through one comprehensive program that combines self-paced coursework with four days of live virtual training.
The three-step pathway allows you to build your skills over time through separate trainings completed in sequence.
Both pathways fulfill the core training requirement needed to pursue professional certification.
Accreditation and Certification
CTI’s Tobacco Treatment Specialist training program is nationally accredited by the Council for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs.
Completing a CTI training pathway does not automatically provide professional certification. Additional requirements may include an application, examination and other steps established by the certifying organization.
