SUMMARY:Accelerated Tobacco Treatment Specialist Program
DESCRIPTION:Four Day Virtual Training: October 13 – 16\, 2026 | 8:15am – 2:30pm each day \nFees: $500 for Maine Residents | $750 for non-Maine Residents \nThis program provides education on evidence-based research ranging from tobacco treatment medications\, population-based issues and targeted tobacco treatment intervention skills. The MaineHealth Center for Tobacco Independence Tobacco Treatment Specialist (TTS) Program offers evidence-based education available in a versatile and fun format. Participants will gain competence in treating patients with tobacco use disorder and learn how to address tobacco use within organizations. Upon completion\, participants receive a training certificate\, which is the initial step toward obtaining the Tobacco Treatment Specialist Certification. \nRegistration closes September 28\, 2026 @ 11:59pm ET \n
